CSI: Eindhoven
September 15th, 2005
First of all, I want to thank everyone for the incredible support I’ve received this week. It’s realy been quite overwhelming. Thank you, thank you… thank you!
I’ll now brief you all on what’s happend until now.
Allthough the policemen at the scene immediately thought I was hit by a MagLite, the detective investagating the case did not. He figgered that I had been knocked down by one blow to my left eye, and the fall to the ground did the rest of the damage. They hadn’t been able to find the flashlight, and 6 of the 10 witnesses hadn’t seen the flashlight. I must add that at least 2 of these 6 witnesses didn’t see me get hit because they weren’t looking at me then (Ilona and Andrew).
After some serious CSI research stuff, the evidence might be pointing in the other direction again. Some things just don’t seem to make sence. If all the damage to my face was done by the ground, how come my hands and arms are barely touched. Also how come just under my nose my lip was cut clean open, yet my nose only had a small scratch. They investegated the scene and made sure that I did not fall face down on the curb. After showing my pictures to the hospital the docters also told the police that only two wounds to my face were caused by the ground. The others they thought were done by a fist or an object. The fist being ruled out since the guy didn’t have any inprints of my smashed up teeth on his fist. And last but not least, my dentist also thought the damage to my teeth was done by an object, since he recognised much of the damage from people being hit in the face by hockeysticks. He also noted if you go KO, you’re probebly been hit against you’re lower jaw, which does not match the cab drivers story that he only hit me against my left eye.
… stay tuned… CSI: Eindhoven will return as soon as they gather more evidence!
