Eindhoven was lucky enough to host the UEFA Cup final this year. Over 25 thousand supporters from Middlesbrough and Sevilla came over to view the match. We watched the match on the Stadhuisplein together with all the ’Boro’ fans that hadn’t been able to get a ticket. The Philips stadium was completely packed. I was very impressed with the fans of both sides. The atmosphere was terrific. Of course I rooted for Middlesbrough, but alas… Sevilla beat them 4 - 0.

Hope Eindhoven will host something big like that again soon. Any reason for a party in the city. Don’t forget to have a look at the photo’s.
